Nvidia CMP HX GPU Series: A series of GPU's specifically made for cryptomining.

I know I am late at covering this topic. But, late better than never.                                                   Nvidia's new CMP HX GPU lineup targets crypto miners. These cards have better mining hash rates than any other GPU. Nvidia's main motive of launching these cards is to giving miners GPU's that are made specifically for mining cryptocurrency. This may result that gamers will be getting gaming GPU's before miners buy them for crypto mining.                          Nvidia themselves wrote a blog on it describing the difference between GeForce and CMP. "GeForce Is Made for Gaming, CMP Is Made to Mine.  We’re limiting the hash rate of GeForce RTX 3060 GPUs so they’re less desirable to miners and launching NVIDIA CMP for professional mining," Source: Nvidia's Blog  ...

Apple launches their own silicon chip: Apple M1 Review

Apple has launched their first silicon chip- M1, on the 17th of November, 2020. It is based on ARM's A14 chip and is the first processor based on the 5nm fabrication process. Apple's M1 has 8 cores for the CPU and 8 cores for the GPU, making a total of 16 cores. Out of the 8 cores for the CPU, 4 cores are dedicated for High Power Performance, while the other 4 cores are dedicated for Low Power Efficiency.                           As for the onboard 8 core GPU, it has a total 128 compute units and 2.6 Teraflops of throughput. There is one exception for the GPU in the M1 chip used in the entry level MacBook Air, as it has 7 cores instead of 8 cores.                         The M1 chip also has unified memory, making no need for extra RAM. It means it comes with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR4X-4266 MHz SDRAM, depending on your device.     ...
